Used Haworth Compose cubicles customized to fit a wall jog and finished to look factory installed


This project was a used Haworth Compose installation where the existing space did not follow a straight wall line. There was a jog in the wall that would normally leave gaps or force awkward panel cuts if installed as a standard layout.

Instead of forcing the furniture to fit poorly, we modified the cubicle layout so the jog completely disappears. Panels, desktops, and connections were adjusted so the finished install looks like it was designed that way from the factory.

Frosted plexiglass stackers were added to the top of the panels to maintain privacy while keeping the space open and bright. Wood work surfaces were matched across the layout to keep everything consistent.

This is a common situation in large facilities. Walls are rarely straight, drawings are not always accurate, and used furniture almost never drops in perfectly without adjustment. Our crews are set up to modify and customize used systems on site so the final result looks intentional, clean, and permanent.

Custom Herman Miller Installations and Fabrication

This project was a custom Herman Miller installation completed for the Yamhill County Tax Assessors office. The scope included designing and fabricating a custom reception counter with solid wood fronts that were matched to the desktops throughout the space. An integrated access gate was built into the counter to keep the front clean while maintaining functionality.

Behind the reception area, we installed Herman Miller height adjustable workstations with matching desktops, frameless glass panels, and consistent finishes across the entire layout. The goal was a clean, professional space that felt cohesive from the public-facing counter to the employee work areas.

This project is a good example of how we work beyond standard furniture installs. We regularly fabricate custom components, modify existing systems, and build one-off pieces to meet the needs of specific offices. If a space requires something that does not exist off the shelf, we can usually build it.

We started with used cubicle panels, upgraded them with new fabric, and added matching laminate to the panel exteriors to tie in with the desktops and file cabinets. The end result is a clean, consistent look that feels new without the cost of a full new system.

Custom Haworth workstation built and installed for Oregon State University

Custom Haworth Workstations and University Installations

This project was a custom Haworth workstation installation completed for Oregon State University. The layout was designed around refurbished 42 inch Haworth cubicle panels paired with frameless glass stackers to maintain privacy while keeping the space open.

We fabricated a custom L shaped desktop configuration to maximize usable work surface and matched the finishes across the entire workstation. Storage was integrated to fit the layout without crowding the space.

This installation is a good example of how we adapt commercial furniture systems to meet the needs of universities and institutional clients. We regularly modify panels, fabricate custom desktops, and build layouts that are not available off the shelf.

We built a fully enclosed private office inside a working warehouse using modular office cubicles, complete with a solid door and interior window. This setup creates a quiet, secure workspace without permanent construction—ideal for supervisors, managers, or on-site administrative use.

Office Expansions Using Matching Cubicle Systems

This project started as a standard cubicle installation where we supplied used systems to the customer. About a year and a half later, the company relocated and expanded into a larger space.

Because we carry large quantities of commercial cubicle systems, we were able to supply the same cubicles again for the expansion. The new areas match the original installation so the office feels consistent instead of patched together with different furniture.

For facilities managers, this is a big deal. Expansions rarely happen all at once, and finding matching furniture years later is usually difficult or impossible. Having access to inventory that can support future growth makes planning easier and avoids unnecessary replacement costs.

We regularly work with companies that expand in phases and need their furniture to stay consistent over time. When future growth is part of the plan, we help select systems that can be supported long term.

Large Scale Facility Installations with On Site Problem Solving

This installation was part of a 150 cubicle project using 5 by 6 freestanding Haworth workstations. During the install, one section of the floor plan did not line up as expected, which is common on large facility projects once furniture is on the floor.

Instead of forcing the layout or delaying the schedule, we custom cut and adjusted desktops and panels on site to make everything fit cleanly. The end result was a consistent layout that maintained the open feel the client wanted without compromising usable workspace.

This type of field adjustment is a normal part of large scale facility work. Walls are rarely square, columns are not always where drawings show them, and real conditions often differ from plans. Our crews are set up to handle those issues without stopping a project.

We regularly handle large installations involving 100 plus workstations for facilities managers, government offices, universities, and corporate environments. When something does not fit, we solve it on site and keep the project moving.

Custom Haworth Cubicle Modernization for Large Facilities


This project was a custom Haworth cubicle installation completed for Snitzer Properties in downtown Portland. We used the same Haworth systems commonly found in university and government environments and completely transformed them to meet the look and performance standards of a modern commercial property.

The panels were rewrapped in a custom material selected by the client, giving the entire layout a bright, clean white finish. New desktops were added along with corner sit to stand workstations to modernize the space and improve daily usability. The result is a one off installation that does not look like a standard cubicle system you would see in another office.

This type of work is common on large facility projects where the furniture needs to match the building’s aesthetic without the cost of buying brand new systems. By reworking existing Haworth components and fabricating custom finishes, we delivered a space that feels new while coming in at well under half the cost of purchasing new furniture.

Projects like this require coordination, planning, and on site problem solving. Custom Herman Miller cubicles fabricated and modified to match existing furniture and floor plan conditions

This project started as a standard Herman Miller cubicle system, but the client wanted the exterior of the cubicles to match their existing desktops and surrounding furniture. To achieve that, we had custom desktops fabricated and sourced additional laminate from the same material run.

The fabric was removed from the exterior panels and replaced with the desktop laminate so the cubicle walls and work surfaces all matched. Once installed, the system looks like it was manufactured that way instead of retrofitted.

Inside the workstations, panels were refabricated and trim was powder coated to maintain a clean, consistent finish. In several areas, standard panel sizes did not work with the existing floor plan. Panels were cut down, window frames were reworked and welded, and connections were adjusted so everything fit the space correctly without gaps or odd transitions.

The finished installation looks factory built and intentional, while fitting the client’s actual floor plan and blending seamlessly with furniture they already had in place.

This type of work is common on large facility projects where replacing everything with new furniture is not practical or cost effective. We regularly modify Herman Miller systems to match existing environments, solve layout issues, and deliver a finished space that looks new without the cost of starting over.

This project was a full new cubicle installation completed on behalf of an out-of-state office furniture dealer. The dealer subcontracted the installation to our team to handle all on-site coordination, assembly, and final layout for their client. Our crew delivered a clean, efficient install that met the dealer’s specifications while serving as the local installation partner.
